My goal

I want everyone to be able to use this website. I am aiming for conformance with WCAG 2.2 level AA, which includes WCAG 2.1 level AA, the level that the European standard EN 301 549 refers to.

Current status

This website is fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. This is how I checked it:

  • Automated checks with axe on every change, in light and dark mode.
  • Every page can be used with the keyboard alone, with the focus always visible.
  • A manual review with screen readers: VoiceOver and NVDA.
  • The content reads without horizontal scrolling at 320 px wide and at 400 % zoom.
  • Animations follow the system setting to reduce motion.

Known limitations

  • The “Ask me” chat needs JavaScript. Without it, the page points to the contact section instead.
  • The human check of the contact form needs JavaScript. Without it, the page you land on explains the other ways to get in touch.
  • The answers of the “Ask me” chat are generated by an AI and may contain mistakes.
